Work for a boutique real estate web development & marketing agency
Vanity Geeks is a digital studio built for people who hate average work and don’t want a boring career. We design and build high-performance real estate websites that feel modern, luxury, fast, and intentional. The kind of work that actually changes how a brand is perceived, not just how it looks.
We’re different because we live in both worlds: real estate and design. We understand how agents operate, how buyers think, and how people actually search in an AI-driven internet. That lets us build experiences that aren’t just pretty, but convert, rank, and perform in the real world.
This is a place for people who care about craft. We’re obsessive about details, ruthless about quality, and allergic to shortcuts. We don’t use templates. We don’t ship half-finished ideas. Everything is built from the ground up with intention and taste.
You’ll work on real projects for real clients, not fake portfolio pieces. You’ll learn fast, be pushed to think deeper, and be expected to take ownership of your work. The bar is high here on purpose.
If you want a job where you can grow, sharpen your skills, and build work you’re genuinely proud of, Vanity Geeks is that place. We take the work seriously, move fast, and expect excellence.
If that excites you instead of scares you, you’ll fit right in.

Web Designer (Front End)
Role Description
This is a remote, project-based Front-End Web Designer role with the potential to grow into full-time.
You will be working within an existing Django-based CMS and admin panel that is consistent across all client websites. The backend, page structure, templates, and inputs are already built and opinionated.
Pages are created using predefined fields and templates within the admin panel, with custom HTML injected via content editors and code blocks. Styling and interactivity are handled through shared CSS and JavaScript overlay files that override and enhance the existing site.
You will not be building backend systems, page architectures, or themes from scratch. The work is focused on front-end execution, visual refinement, and UX improvements within a fixed structure.
Most projects share a similar structural framework, but each requires a completely custom visual treatment. The work is primarily redesign-focused, with a strong emphasis on brand expression, front-end precision, SEO best practices, and user experience improvements.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement custom front-end layouts using existing CMS inputs
- Write clean, maintainable HTML injected via admin content editors and code blocks
- Customize and extend shared CSS and JavaScript overlay files
- Apply brand systems consistently across pages and components
- Optimize layout, content structure, and UX for SEO and performance
- Work within predefined templates without breaking existing functionality
- Collaborate asynchronously using Trello and Google Workspace
Qualifications
- Strong front-end web design and development skills
- Portfolio demonstrating responsive, production-ready websites
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript
- Comfort working inside existing CMS platforms and inherited codebases
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals, content hierarchy, and UX principles
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Django admin panels or CMS-driven platforms
- Experience with real estate websites and/or IDX systems
- Familiarity with override-based CSS/JS architectures
- Portfolio examples of real estate or content-heavy websites
- Fluent English communication
Compensation & Structure
Estimated income: $4,000-$10,000 per month

This is a contractor, per-project role with ongoing monthly work. There is an opportunity for full-time employment with consistent performance and reliability.
SEO & CMS Specialist
Role Description
This is a remote, project-based SEO / CMS Specialist role.
You will be working inside an existing Django-based CMS and admin panel that is consistent across all client websites. The backend, page templates, content structures, and inputs are already built and standardized.
Your role is to execute SEO-critical work within that system. This includes creating and configuring pages, structuring content correctly, optimizing metadata, maintaining internal linking, and ensuring pages are technically sound and search-engine friendly.
This role is not focused on content marketing, backlink outreach, or high-level SEO strategy. The work is hands-on, execution-driven, and performed on live production websites.
This position is especially well suited for experienced SEO professionals who already freelance or white-label for other clients and are looking to take on additional, clearly scoped project work. Availability is flexible and work is asynchronous, as long as deadlines and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Create, configure, and manage pages using predefined CMS templates and inputs
- Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal links, and structured content
- Ensure proper content hierarchy and SEO-friendly layout structure
- QA pages for crawlability, indexing issues, and technical SEO errors
- Coordinate with front-end developers to preserve SEO integrity during design updates
- Maintain consistency across multiple client websites using the same system
- Execute SEO checklists accurately and efficiently
- Track tasks and deliverables using Trello and Google Workspace
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of on-page and technical SEO fundamentals
- Experience working inside CMS platforms (Django-based or similar preferred)
- Comfort working within structured templates and predefined inputs
- Ability to follow detailed processes and ship accurate work independently
- Understanding of how metadata, internal linking, and content structure impact rankings
- Strong attention to detail and clear written communication
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with real estate websites or IDX-driven platforms
- Familiarity with Django admin panels or custom CMS environments
- Experience QA’ing large volumes of pages efficiently
- Understanding of schema, indexing behavior, and crawl diagnostics
- Experience collaborating with developers and designers on live production sites
Compensation & Structure
Estimated income: $2,000-$5,000 per month (workload is similar to part time hours)
This is a contractor, per-project role. Work is scoped individually and not tied to fixed weekly hours. There is consistent ongoing work available for reliable performers, with flexibility to take on projects alongside other freelance or white-label engagements.
